A young man replied to an advert for a Trainee Rabbi, being attracted by the rate of pay : £250 a week plus TIPS !
He arrived at the Synagogue and saw the words over the Rabbi's door : WE KEEP THE PIECE !
The Rabbi greeted him saying : are you sure you are CUT OUT for this job ?!
He said to the Rabbi : Don't you think it's a bit optimistic cutting an inch off BEFORE YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT'S GOING TO BE !!
Anyway, the Rabbi put him on the payroll, but the lad slipped on the first day and GOT THE SACK !!!
